For the healthy people, we want to get more material things.
Our satisfaction is measured by the amount of things we have.
We can never be satisfied.
We want more, more, more!
So we work, work, work our lives away...

For those who don't have the wealth of health,
they know that they have not much time left.
They'd want to spend quality time with their loved ones.
They wish they had more time.

Time is never enough.

The ruler of this world is Satan. Not God.
The rat race. Who created it? I'd reckon the devil.

The devil wants us to be slaves after material things.
But all these material things can only be enjoyed on Earth.

So when we leave Earth, where will we be?

An elderly couple was standing at one of the doors.

Then there's this married man, sitting with his wife, decided to give up his seat.

I looked at the wife's expression.

She gave a sad face. Sulking to her husband.

I was thinking, "Why?"

I mean, I'd smile to my husband and mouth the words "Well done!".

Fine. The wife was probably sad that she didn't get to sit with her husband for the rest of the journey. But what is there to be sad about?! Boo!

I was the person who holding Sheryl Nome poster. May’n saw I’m holding the poster & shocked after she saw the “Deculture” banner at the back before she left the stage prepare for the autograph season, I’m sure she was happy with that.
I specially bought the VIP ticket to watch the performance until the end & I rush to the backstage trying to ask May’n to sign on the poster, but I been blocked by the crew workers before I can reach my voice to May’n & the crew workers trying to pull me away.

I told the crew workers by tell them that the DSLR camera in my front & my laptop at my back either 1 of them get ruin, they will be get in big trouble.

They stop pulling me & I use this chance to bow on the floor like the Japanese did to get May’n ’s attention. 1 of the crew worker said my action will made May’n scare & she wont be comming next year.
Do you think May’n will comming again next year ? I dont think so, because this is my 1st trip to Singapore & it may also my last trip too.
I’m not sure did the crew workers inform May’n about this, but I overheard 1 of the crew worker trying to make me leave by simply sign 1 autograph for me. God I started to get angry, even they asked me to pass the poster to him & he bought to May’n sign.

I did not get myself up from the bow, but still continue bow at the floor. around 15 minutes later, 1 of the crew worker bring me a autograph which looks like May’n signature which you Daimond ticket guys have. Then I started to pack myself up & leave the backstage, but before I go, I bow again & said “Arigato gozaimashita”. This time, I just only bow & said “Thanks” but I dont know why the crew workers still trying to pulling me away. Arent this is a way to thanks a people when begging ?

After I get the autograph, I check with my Daimond friends again & notice some diffrent between the autograph giving on the stage & I have.

I cant said is a Real of Fake, but as long as the Autograph is really sign by May’n, than I will be happy with that, if that’s not signed by May’n, this mean I been cheated.

Conclusion, I’m happy with May’n ’s performance, but I’m not happy with the crew workers by stopping me been politely asking May’n to sign for me.

According to my friend, we are not supposed to take with the cosplay humans but take pictures of them. Hahahahaha. I didn't know how to crop nicely. So yeah. The character on the left is in Rozen Maiden. The character's name is Suigin Tou. Her costume is really nice. She had every detail in check! A pity that I only took a shot of her ):

Amazing stuff. It is written by Leslie Ludy's husband. So it is like from a guy's perspective. I was nodding my head in agreement as I read on.

I was reading Life in the Straits Times, 1st Oct issue.

There was an artical on the movie The House Bunny.

Part of it says,

Well, I guess laziness is one main reason. However! What is attractive?

To Grow and Change are different.
As SJ puts it, growth is always positive whereas change can be positive and negative.

Went to Wild Wild Wet. Its too kido. Catered more for a family of four with young children. Its reallllllllllly not thrilling at all. I was expecting an adrenaline pumping experience. Its good to meet tourists though. Its an attraction for them. Haha.

Well, other than the initial fear of heights from the Skyrider[H] and short-lived adrenaline rush from Slide Up [G]. Other rides are too safe = Boring. /Yawns

The tsunami is _______________. [Argh. My vocab is limited.]
The waves are not gigantic. Just enough to cause movement in position.

I've to say there are many life guards. Mostly Malays. [Not that I've anything against them. Just a remark.]

Oh yeah. There is no hot water in the showers.

Colour Blind.

Went out with a bunch of council friends and one of them commented that her teacher said females will not be colour blind, only applied to males.

I went to wikipedia and found out that men are more prone to be colour blind.

According to Wikipedia:

About two percent of females and eight percent of males are color blind (Sewell, 1983).

The reason males are at a greater risk of inheriting an X linked mutation is because males only have one X chromosome (XY), and females have two (XX).

In color blindness caused by mutations on the X chromosome there is a 50% chance of male offspring being affected and a 50% chance of female offspring being carriers. Nature usually deals with mutated genes by expressing the healthy copy in offspring. Males only receive one copy and are therefore more vulnerable to mutations on the X chromosome being passed to them by their mothers. Anyway, had a interesting chat with one of my uni friends.

He told me about Einstein's theory about Time is Relative.

So if I say "took me so long to finally realise how meaningless something is."

Long could mean 2 weeks?

2 days?

2 years?

2 decades?

Well, it really depends on how you define the time period when you say its a long time. 

God is good.

I heard my neighbours quarreling above me.

The guy was[perhaps still is] upset that the girl cheated on him.

He said something about calling her and she hung up on him.

She was sobbing.

He was shouting angrily.

He tried to make her confess her disloyalty.

She refuses.

/sound of her running around the house, him chasing and shouting.

The cycle continued for about 10 or 15 minutes.

Then silence. I panicked.
Praying to God, hoping that both parties didn't do foolish things!
Was on MSN, told 2 others to pray with me.

Then I heard,

"HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME YOU F****** B****!"

He sounded really hurt.

You could hear him crying out loud.

But he seems to be more calm.

She was sobbing.

5 minutes later, there was only quietness.

Garlic.

It works!

My salsa mate told me that eating fresh,raw garlic can help to kill bacteria in my throat. [I complained to her about my sore throat while eating Nasi Lemak at Holland Village with her. And I *erm* added chilli. Haha.] I thought about it. Cooked garlic tastes nice and smells good. But raw ones? I've never tried.

When I reached home, I know the sore-ness has upped its level.
I contemplated with the idea of eating raw garlic.
After showering, I decided to do it.
I went to get a few garlics, flaten with chopping knife.
Got rid of the skin and put one in my mouth.

YES I KNOW I AM CRAZY.

I was chewing, seems ok. I like the garlic smell. It makes me hungry.
But my sis hates garlic. Period.

I was chewing and chewing...
The garlic was so hot, I choked and teared.
It was a very painful experience. No pain no gain, right?
I went to chew on another one before I went to bed.
Bloated with the water I drank in attempt to make myself feel better.

This morning, my sore throat felt better.
I think the garlic worked.
Unless, it was psychological... But I doubt so.

Prayer.

Hmmm.. I can be quite shallow on certain things and sometimes impatient.

This world has so many things that are INSTANT. I guess this world values efficiency, which is associated with the amount of time spent. And in this world now, time=money. Thus, none of us want to wait and waste time. However, change doesn't happen overnight. Many people expect change to be immediate. I quote Dr Bekker, "Many people say to God, I want to be holy and I want it my way."

He added that God is never early. God is always there. But never early. Always there when you need Him at the right moment.

Christianity is not a 100 metre race. Christianity = Marathon. You need to master the Word of God, and take in the knowledge of God. Then you'll know the Truth and live the way you are meant to. Its a loooooooong journey.

God's Word.

When He wants to speak to you,
you need to be still to hear Him.

1. Slander - Communication of false atatements injurious to a person's reputation.

2. Lying - A false statement deliberately presented as being true.

3. Criticism - Statements made about another's actions, ways and deeds in an effort to hurt their reputation.

4. Talebearing - The practice of spreading gossip and rumours about others.

5. Insinuating - The practice of insinuating or hinting something maybe wrong in the life of another. [I'm assuming wrong = morally wrong and that affects reputation.]

6. Flattery - is saying something to a person's face that we would never behind their backs. [I suppose its like saying the dress is pretty when we don't think it is pretty. AKA Lying.]

7. Exaggeration - Stretching numbers/statistics to make things look better. [Reminds me of projects, can be at school or work.]

8. Silence - When we hear an untruth told and we remain silent, we are guilty of the "slander of silence".

Today's sermon was about the 9th Commandment,
Thou shall not give false testimony against your neighbour.

Dr Corne Bekker was the speaker.

Amongst the first things that he said was that we have to "match our lives with our words."

Made me think about my actions and those words that I said. Do I practise what I believe?

Dr Corne Bekker gave me a whole new perspective on this commandment.
I always equate this commandment as telling lies is wrong. And there's always this nagging question whether white lies are acceptable. But it is more than that.

And apparently it can be linked to Reputation.

While the cars and the taxis and lorries go by
And the minutes, the hours, the days.

Hope.

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
