I am overly and thoroughly blessed.

Thank you God Almighty for deciding who my parents are and where I live.
Thank you for food, shelter, education, nice clothes to wear, nice bed to sleep in and I don't have to worry about natural disasters.
Thank you for advanced technology and medical help available.
Thank you for supplies of medicine when I am sick.
Thank you for clean water to drink.
Thank you for the showers I can take in this heat and keep myself fresh and clean.

O Lord, the people in Haiti are suffering but they seem so far away..
How can I help?
I can't mobilise massive food supplies or build a new government for them.
Praying for them seems to be the only thing I can do. Ok, I will find out how to donate to red cross..
If you are reading this, please prayer for them!
Thank you(:

God is in Control.

Sometimes I get paranoid about things and how things should be,
I get upset and frustrated.

But my sister reminded me that God is in control and He will deal with everything and anything that needs to be dealt with.

At that moment, I felt peace and joy. (:
Even if the world is ending now, I would still have that peace and joy in me.
For God is good and He is in control!!

Missing someone...

I have heard others say that if one misses a person(you love) badly, one will get sick.

I didn't believe. How is it possible?

But now I know.
The sadness is so intense, it makes you feel sick.

Tears can't help but roll down your cheeks.
Its neverending...

You don't feel like doing anything.
You just wanna see him again.

HAPPY 2010!!!!!!

Did you have fun??

I went to east coast at 11.35pm and it was like CROWDED.
It felt like 8pm.

Played sparklers with my boyfriend and his family.
It was quite an experience! :D

Then we headed to changi airport for swensens ice-cream!! (:
The queues at swensens and ya kun were unbelievable.
It was even more crowded than weekends.

But the ice-cream sundae was goooooood.
A sweet start for 2010~

300th Post.

Dearest friends (who still check back on my blog although I didn't update),

How have you guys been? I hope Christmas was filled with lots of fun, good company, good food and lotsa presents! I had fun and good food!!(:

Reflections:
This year I have been watching too much TV(bad) and facebooking(bad), shopping(good), school(good) and spending time with my boyfriend(v.good). ^-^

Though not my idea of being 100% productive(60% only), I guess sometimes we need to be thankful for our limitations for they create opportunities for improvements, yeah?? :D

The real pressure of exams has not come. The holiday season is still running in my head~ Hohoho!

Right or Wrong.

What is right?
What is wrong?

Who set the rules?

Do you know who set the rules?
I do.

God did.

Kids these days.

An Observation.

Kids these days are so precious,
Teachers in school cannot execute physical punishment.
Kids these days know manipulation,
They learn fast and usually not the good stuff.
Kids these days are much lazier (or maybe just the ones I know),
They need additional tuition classes to help them academically.
Kids these days are spoilt for choices,
They get to enjoy technology that we would never have dreamed of!
Kids these days are so lucky,
But God loves us all the same.

YAY!(:

And the things on Earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace~

This is a hymn titled "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus". This hymn encourages me in the difficult times and reminded me that my hope is in the Lord and I should turn my eyes upon Jesus. Jesus loves us all and He died on the Cross for the sins of all of us, so that we may reunite with God in Heaven.

I hope this hymn can bring you hope and comfort in this sad sad world, like it did for me(:

Choices

We have to make choices everyday.

From the small things like what coffee to drink to which degree to take, we all have our time of making choices.

But sometimes we don't make good choices.
And sometimes the not-so-good choices that we made will haunt us.
And it is very frustrating. Very.

It takes time to correct some mistakes in choice-making.
One has to be patient.
The world and its rule are not helping.
Everything these days is instantaneous.

We want it NOW and FAST.
We forgot what it is like to be patient and wait.

What choices did you have to make today?
Were your choices good or bad?

I hope its good(:

Happy Children's Day(:

Hello All,
HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY!!!(:(:

Nonono. We are not too old to celebrate this day. (I know what you're thinking :p)

We are always children to our parents~

And for fellow christians, we are the children of God(:
And He is our Father in Heaven.

中华人民共和国 2009 国庆60周年。 中国六十大寿、生日快乐哦!!
Today is China's birthday too! Did you see their army???
The army girls are so pretty with make up and DID YOU SEE THE PARADE?!!
The army is really neat and marched in unison.
Others cannot compare.

The car Chinese President Hu Jintao rode in while he inspected the troops at the 60th National Day in Beijing was made in northeast China. It grasped public attention with its debut on Thursday.

The self-developed Hongqi HQE car by the First Automobile Works of Changchun (FAW), capital of Jilin Province, is 6.4 meters long, 2.05 meters wide and 1.72 meters high, according to staff from the company.

Chinese features were evident in the design, said Guo Shijun, head of the Hongqi manufacture department of FAW.

"For instance, the radiator grille was in the shape of a Chinese folding fan, and the taillight was like an ancient palace lantern," he said.

P.S. Check out the microphones on the car in the 2nd video I uploaded!! NICE. :D
Note: The soldiers all look the same. Even their height!! Talk about best selection.
