"Men, for the most part, are clueless when it comes to a feminine heart's true needs. I read this whole chunk from a book Authentic Beauty. I was like "Wow.".
Amazing stuff. It is written by Leslie Ludy's husband. So it is like from a guy's perspective. I was nodding my head in agreement as I read on.

I didn't know that "Just as young girls dream of becoming princesses, young boys dream of becoming warriors.".

And that men are supposed to be protectors. Though, girls have to protect and guard their own hearts too.

I was just nodding and nodding in agreement and "Wow. Ooo.. Wow. I see.." all the way~

I learned a lot.

Psalms 10:2-12

In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,

Wacky Wednesday.

Every Wednesday, I have this 3 hour block of freetime from 11am-2pm.
And I'd want to bake something. Last week I made oatmeal chocolatechip cookies(:

The truth about egg yolks.

Most people think that the egg yolk is the worst part of the egg, they'd throw away the egg yolk thinking that that's where all the nasty fat and cholesterol is. On the other hand, the YOLK IS THE HEALTHIEST PART OF THE EGG!


By throwing out the yolk, you're throwing out the most nutrient dense, antioxidant-rich, vitamin and mineral loaded portion of the egg.

The yolk contains B-vitamins, trace minerals, vitamin A, folate, choline, lutein, and other powerful nutrients... etc!


In fact, the egg whites are almost devoid of nutrition compared to the yolk. Even the protein in egg whites isn't as powerful without the yolks to balance out the amino acid profile and make the protein more bio-available.

Egg yolks from free range chickens are actually loaded with omega-3 fatty acids. Vanity.

I was reading Life in the Straits Times, 1st Oct issue.

There was an artical on the movie The House Bunny.

Part of it says,

"...underneath every unpopular girl is a popular one waiting to come out, if only she were brave enough to bleach her hair, slap on the make-up and pad her bra.
Being unattractive is apparently a form of cowardice or laziness."

Well, I guess laziness is one main reason. However! What is attractive?
It really depends on how one defines attractiveness.
