My pastor said that when you do not practise what you already know what is right, that is self deception.
Self-deception is the worst.
The Lord says in Revelations 3:20,
" Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.".
Basically, God is patiently waiting for us to open our doors to Him. He will not force open the door if you don't want to see Him. He is gentle and not violent. You have to invite Him into your heart willingly.
Once you open your heart to let Him in, and want to make contact with God; God will draw even closer to you.
Right now, is your door opened?
